About the Team

The CSU Swim Club is a student-run organization. We strive to build a community within the team, to have healthy competition and to share our love for the sport. 2022-2023 marks the ELEVENTH year of Swim Club's recognition as a sport club at CSU. Participating in a club sports team is a good way to maintain a competitive edge and have fun at the same time. Swimming is great exercise, a great stress reliever and is a life-long skill.

This club is co-ed for swimmers of all levels and backgrounds. We practice five times a week and workouts are tailored to all members by our coach; our practices range from 2,000 to 5,000+ yards depending on skill level and desired intensity. We practice in the Moby Pool and the Glenn Morris Pool. All practices are optional to fit the other engagements in our members' lives although we strongly encourage attendance at a minimum of one if not two practices a week.

The Swim Club competes against regional schools in meets 3-4 times each semester, including two home meets each year. In the Fall semester we typically attend one out-of-state meet.  To end out the year, in April we travel across the US to attend the Collegiate Club Swimming & Diving National Championships. These are all opportunities that we will continue to offer our members in the seasons to come.

Our club believes that community is an essential value for our continued success. To that end, we regularly offer team dinners and social events for our members to attend. We also volunteer in our local Fort Collins community at local events and with other local teams. Fundraising is a crucial part of providing the opportunities that we have for our members and we highly encourage everyone to participate in that process.
